We covet your prayers!

    ~ Doing ministry of any kind where people are blessed and the truth is revealed by the Spirit of God is really putting yourself in the line of fire.  My family and I have been attacked by the enemy over and over again...especially since I wrote and introduced "Our God Reigns Here".  It seems like every spirit that I call out and rebuke in that song has come at us in full force.  All of that to say this...   if you have been touched, blessed or ministered to in any way by our music ministry, please pray for my family for the next week or even the next month.  Specifically pray for a hedge of protection around Josee, Baylee, Hadlee, Sophee, Zeek and myself.  This is a critical time for the new album and the expansion of our ministry, so pray for favor and breakthrough in every arena possible...from radio, to live opportunities, to the CD's on the shelves. Pray that God will pave the way for my family to be on the road with me.  We're believing God for a bus one day to accommodate all of us and my band.  Pray that every Christian station in America and abroad will play "While I'm Waiting" and whatever else we release. Again, if you've been blessed, please consider sending a blessing back our way through your prayers!  WE RECIEVE IT!!!   Blessings!

I wanna be a part of a movement!

I wanna be a part of a movement. There have been all types of movements throughout history, but none compare to a movement of God that results in lives that are radically transformed.  I was apart of a movement of God in Colorado at Southlink church. We were a brand new church plant and we had a simple environment of freedom and a desire to connect with God.  I was a worship pastor for the first time in my life and mine and my pastor's only approach was that we wanted to see God move...for real.  The people that were coming were not traditional church-goers and they didn't  know how to "Play church".  The only thing that was going to work was an authentic encounter with the one true God.  I would pray and ask God to reveal something to me about Himself that I could then impart to these people.  He did.  I would take those revelations and turn them into songs...to stamp them on their hearts.  I believe that is what we're all called to do.  Maybe not the songwriting part, but to seek God, ask Him to reveal Himself and then pass on to someone else what He shows us.  This entry is just me thinking out loud...so to speak, but I seriously want God to use me to start a movement that will ultimately lead to a great awakening of His Kingdom...on earth as it is in Heaven. I wanna know what YOU think!  Please comment!!

     Trusting God is something I'm still learning..after all these years.  Will I ever just accept that He really does love me and has a wonderful plan for my life?  As my sophomore album, "While I'm Waiting" is now released to the world, I find myself struggling with being able to "release" it back to God, and simply trust that His plan for me and this album is a good one.  I can't control what happens.  None of us can, but we sure try don't we??  The enemy is always whispering, "God is holding out on you...you've gotta take matters into your own hands".  That is exactly what He convinced Adam and Eve of and look what happened.  I write songs about trusting God, waiting on Him and walking by faith because THAT is the desire of my heart, but just like you, I fail to live it out at times.  All we can do is choose to forget the past and decide today that we're going to, through the help of the Holy Spirit, seek Him and trust Him with our whole heart.... and take these whispering lies of the devil and cast them out in JESUS' NAME!!!  "Lord, let the Spirit of wisdom and understanding rest on me and everyone reading this so we can know you better today.  Let the eyes of our hearts be enlightened so we can know the hope we've been called to. You are NOT holding out on us. The plans YOU have for us is not to harm us, but to give us a future and a hope"
